In MR. ROBOT, Elliot, a cyber-security engineer by day and vigilante hacker by night, is recruited by a mysterious underground group to destroy the firm he's paid to protect. Elliot must decide how far he'll go to expose the forces he believes are running (and ruining) the world.

Elliot refuses a job offer from Tyrell, saying he's happy where he is now i.e. working for Gideon at AllSafe. Gideon thanks him for saving the company and offers him a raise. When coming back from work Elliot finds Darlene in his apartment. They take the train to the fsociety warehouse where he meets Mr. Robot, that tries to convince him to go on with the hacking they've started together. Tyrell is refused a chance to convince the company he is the right one to replace Colby. To get some comfort, he pays someone to take a beating. Then he gets closer to his boss' secretary to obtain information about the new CTO. Elliot wakes up in the hospital with Krista and Shayla watching him. He needs to convince Krista he's alright but that's no problem since he easily gets in the database of the hospital. Elliot thinks fsociety are done with him and plans on starting a new life - a normal life. Hence he brings Shayla with at a dinner at Gideon's. Whilst trying to get through the morphine withdrawal and get clean, Elliot tries to find a way to bring E Corp down once and for all. He realizes he and fsociety might have a chance but the time-line is really tight. As it was his idea, Elliot decides he should be the one going to Steel Mountain. However, his condition goes from bad to worse in a few hours and his hallucinations too get darker and more intense. Elliot, Romero and Mobley head to Steel Mountain. Elliot goes in with Mobley's help, who creates a fake Wikipedia page in his name. Elliot encounters Tyrell Wellick, with whom he has lunch with. This is a perfect opportunity for Elliot to complete his mission. It is the time when Elliot learns that Tyrell is onto him. Angela leaves Oliver for good and goes back to her dad. Elliot remembers the first time he met Shayla. Angela gets her lawyer to arrange a meeting between her and Colby. Colby intends to bribe her but Angela isn't backing down. However, she does not get what she would want from the cunning Colby but she still manages to impress him. Darlene has a conversation with Mr. Robot in a bar. Then Mr. Robot visits Romero. Tyrell fires some people from his team and makes his move on Ms. Knowles. Gideon is afraid whether or not All Safe has a future. Elliot makes an unexpected and truthful visit to his psychiatrist.
